V-Day & Birthday Cookies

Rodney surprised me with chocolates and Aubrey with a coloring set this Valentine's Day.  Aubrey loved her coloring set and colored almost all day long.  She is such a little artist.  Daddy said that Miss Caroline will get a special gift next year.  She is holding him to it. 

Since Daddy's birthday was Sunday, we made cookies today for him to take to work.  I made homemade icing, iced the cookies during nap time, and allowed Aubrey to paint the white icing with diluted food coloring.  She had so much fun!  A few of Rodney's employees were a little skeptical, but Rodney reassured them that her hands were clean and that she didn't lick any of the cookies.  Ha!
