Potty Training- Day 2

Wow!  What a difference a day makes.  Aubrey had only one accident today!!!  We kept reminding her to tell mommy and daddy when she had to potty .  We also watched for her body cues and that helped a lot.  Towards the end of the night she was holding her pee for a good hour and a half and then peeing in the potty.  She even held her pee through bath time and peed in her potty before going to bed.

My 3 day potty training guides instructs you to not use diapers or pull-ups.  I was going to do this yesterday, but was nervous and didn't have the right vinyl mattress pads for the bed.  I had Rodney stop last night on the way home from work to pick up three vinyl covers and an extra sheet.  I made the bed this morning and put her in panties for nap time.  My BIG girl woke up dry and even peed in her potty right after waking.  Rodney and I were ecstatic to say the least!  Aubrey also woke up tonight at 11:00 to use the potty.  She had a pull-up on and had tinkled a little, but then finished in the potty!

On a side note, Rodney read the guide last night and he has been a great co-cheerleader in helping Aubrey achieve such a big girl goal.  I know most dads would just take instructions from their significant other, but I am glad Rodney went the extra mile and read the guide so we could be on the same page for Miss Aubrey! 

Tomorrow is a new day and I hope we continue to progress like we have these past two days!

Here is Aubrey playing with her new glasses.  She only gets rewards for doing a full pee in the potty and this time she held it for at least 2 hours!

 Since Aubrey couldn't play in the front yard in her panties, we played in the back yard.  She likes for us to trace her and today I added clothes, eyes, nose, mouth, hair and the she requested I add a paci to the drawings.  She is such a hoot! 

 Caroline even got in on the action and got to swing!  She didn't go very high, but she loved it anyways.
