Chapstick & Tot School

Aubrey knows where I keep my chapstick in my office and goes straight for it if the door isn't shut. I think it is cute that she knows she has to take the top off and then put it on her lips. She actually applies it correctly and maybe licks it a few times while she is at it. LOL!
Recently I thought, "why don't I put my education and student loan debt to good use and teach Aubrey more things at home." Of course we learn things everyday and I am always teaching her stuff, but I wanted something more planned out through out the day. So we (Aubrey) is going to start doing more tot school things later this month. I have started the planning and preparing of all the activities that she is going to do.

One activity is practicing pouring from and into different types of containers. Since it is super hot this is a great outdoor activity. She is doing really good and has no clue that she is learning skills. It is a sign of good teaching when you think you are playing when in fact you are learning.

Aubrey was a little fussy today and I made her go into time-out twice. After coming out of time out, I stamped her with one of my teaching stamps. It say, "Please correct and return." If she is good tomorrow she will get the "very good" stamp.
