Fossil Rim

We all packed into the Yukon and headed up to Fossil Rim. Fossil Rim is a drive through safari. Rodney and I went there when we first moved here with Tiffani, Jim, & Abby. It was a lot of fun back then, but even more fun now that we actually have a little one.

As expected, Aubrey LOVED it! She was a little iffy when I put her in the front seat with my dad. However, once she realized she was out of a car seat and free, she couldn't have been happier in his lap. LOL! My dad helped point out the cool animals, let her hang out the window, drink sugary soda, and feed the animals. Yes, she actually fed the animals.

The top middle photo is of Aubrey feeding one of the animals. Once she realized what the food was for, she was all about giving it to them or throwing it out the window. Sometimes the food made it out the window and sometimes it landed in the car. Rodney is still commenting on the AWESOME smell the food leaves behind when it has been baking in the car for 8 hours a day. Some pictures I took for Aubrey's safari picture book.
