Thanksgiving 2012 proved to be very fun, relaxing, and special. Rodney's grandparents (Nena & Pap) haven't seen Caroline since she was in her spica cast, so it was nice for them to see her walking and happy.
At the end of the night, we headed tot he beach to take photos of the cousins. I knew Caroline wouldn't be up for the photo, so I wasn't surprised when all pictures include her crying. Abby did a great job maintaining her cute smile while holding an unhappy Caroline. Ha!
While trying to get all the kiddos to smile, poor aunt Janis feel into a hole and hurt her knee. Jim and Rodney came to the rescued and helped her back to the beach house. Besides aunt Janis falling, it was a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was nice to see Rodney's extended family and for the girls to see their great-grandparents. It's sad that they can't meet my grandparents, but at least they can meet Rodney's.
