Hi folks,
This is Rodney making this Blog update, because Dana is busy caring for Child #2.
I wanted to get some pictures uploaded for all of you to see our new addition. I am not the photographer that Dana is, and do not have access to all of the photography tools that she does, so I am sure that Dana will re-post better versions of these at a later time. :)
Both Mom and Daughter are having a much better day today than yesterday. They are both healthy, and there is a very good chance that they get to come home tomorrow!

| Dana was probably too embarrassed to mention this before, but I am completely stoked that Caroline was born on 11/11/10, which is a binary number. Hence, me signing "11-11" in this picture. 111110 is the binary equivalent of the decimal number 62, which will be my nickname for my daughter. No commentary please, I already realize that I'm a geek. |
Dear Dana and Rodney, we are 2 nurses at a NICU in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and we are currently writing a paper about contact isolation. While searching on the internet for a picture we found your beautiful blog. We would really like to use the picture of 'Caroline being worked on by the NICU team' to illustrate our paper. We would like to ask your permission to use this picture once and anonymously. Thanks for your answer in advance!
