Sharkarosa Ranch

We loaded up the girls and drove an hour out of the metroplex to go to Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch.  They had an area where you could walk up to the animals: kangaroos, deer, Clydesdale horses, rabbits, lemurs, monkeys and zebras.  Aubrey loved the monkey and Caroline loved the rabbit.
They also had little pouches set up to hold the Joeys (baby kangaroo).  We also met our friends, so Aubrey got to hang with her friend Emilee. Those two girls are so silly.  Notice that Caroline is playing peek-a-boo with the kangaroo.
They also had an open train that drove through the farm so the kids could get up close and personal with some of the animals.  The first stop was with Clydesdale horses (they are HUGE), zebras, and a zonkey (half zebra and half donkey). It train had little buckets on the side for the animals to eat from while the kids got to be them.
We also got to see the camels.
Caroline enjoyed walking around and Aubrey liked petting the albino joey.
Here is Miss Aubrey holding the albino kangaroo.  I am surprised she wanted to hold the joey and that she is actually smiling.
