The Beach

Grandma and Poppy Pop left today.  I told Aubrey that maybe we would go see them and play in the ocean one day.  I think she thought I meant today.  She kept saying that we were going to play in the ocean and have a picnic.  So, we took her to Lake Grapevine and told her it was the ocean.  She even found some shells, so she was even more convinced it was the ocean.  Shame on us, but it did get her to stop asking to go to the ocean. :o)

I thought Caroline would hate the sand/mud, but she loved it.  She kept wanting to go deeper into the lake, but I made her say closer to the shore.
